The Route Planner in the Smart Site Plan Platform allows users to define routes efficiently by selecting start and end points via address entry or direct map interaction. This feature integrates seamlessly with the Layer infrastructure for enhanced functionality.
Selecting Start and Destination
Enter an address in the designated field or click on the map to set the starting point and destination. This initiates the route generation process immediately.
Adding Intermediate Stops
Drag the route line on the map to create additional stops dynamically. These stops integrate directly without requiring a download to layers, allowing full use of the Layer infrastructure for persistence and management.
Navigating to Markers
Click any marker displayed in the Route Planner container to center the map view on its precise location, facilitating quick reference and adjustments.
Marker Color Coding
Markers are distinguished by color: yellow for the starting point, gray for intermediate stops, and green for the destination, ensuring clear visual identification.
Removing Stops
Activate the Undo stop button to remove intermediate stops sequentially, beginning from those nearest the destination and progressing backward to the start.
Route Summary
The total route distance and estimated travel time are shown at the bottom of the Route Planner container for immediate review.
