Quick Access

This guide explains how to upload, modify, edit, and delete images in your Smart Site Plan projects.

Uploading

In the Overlays panel, select the Upload button from the bottom taskbar.

  1. A window will open, prompting you to drag and drop image files or browse your file explorer to select an image.
  2. After the images finish uploading, select the button labeled Finish. Note: If an image contains GPS data, it will automatically be placed at the corresponding location on the map.
  3. To locate an uploaded image on the map, select the crosshair icon next to the image name in the Overlays panel.

Modifying

In the Overlays panel, select the modify icon next to the image name to navigate to the image’s location on the map and access a toolbar with the following options:

  • Crop the image for a better fit.
  • Rotate the image to adjust its orientation.
  • Scale the image larger or smaller using grip edits.
  • Add a border to the image.
  • Reset the image to its original uploaded state and location.
  • Save the changes made to the image.
  • Discard any changes and revert to the original image.

Editing

  1. In the Overlays panel, select the button labeled Edit at the bottom of the container.
  2. Next to the image name you wish to rename, select the option labeled Edit.
  3. Enter the new name in the provided field and select the button labeled Save.

Deleting

  1. In the Overlays panel, select the button labeled Delete at the bottom of the container.
  2. Next to the image name you wish to remove, select the option labeled Delete.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted to complete the action.

Image Display Order

Images can be shown above or below Open Data on the map. This option is controlled by an arrow icon located next to the opacity percentage in the Overlays panel. Selecting the upward arrow places images above Open Data, while the downward arrow places them below. This adjusts the z-index so you can decide which layer takes visual priority.
