Tasks

Quick Access

This article will describe how to create, edit, and delete tasks in your project.

Creating a task

  1. Go to the Overlays from the Main Menu.
  2. Select Task at the bottom of the Overlay’s container.
    1. Give the task a name. This will be visible as the layer under Tasks in Overlays.
    2. Select date of occurrence. This is the due date of the task.
    3. Indicate if the task repeats. If it does, select the frequency.
    4. Choose when you would like to be notified of this specific task. The notification value turns the color of a task to yellow, once within range. Furthermore, the notification symbol counter will be increased by one. Note: Notification value must be lower than repeat frequency.
    5. Choose if you would like the task to be linked to a point on the map.
    6. Linking:
      1. Select Yes for the field and Confirm.
      2. Click on a location on the map and then Save. Note: You can always click on this entity in the future to add or attach data to it.
    7. Not linking:
      1. Select No for the field and Confirm.
      2. You will be able to provide additional information for the task since it is not linked to an entity on the map. This information will show up if the user clicks on the task in Overlays.
  3. Click Finish to create the new task.

Editing an Existing Task

After creating a task, you have the ability to edit it if plans changed.
